Every fourth of July we all go to Janet's for lunch and I bring a large cookie-cake with flag shaped fruit. This years was the best ever...the crust is key!
CRUST--> spread evenly across large cookie sheet & bake for 10 minute in 450 preheated oven.
1c butter
2c sugar
3/4t baking soda
1/2t salt
2t real vanilla
3 eggs
3 1/2c flour
2t baking powder
FROSTING--> whip & spread evenly over cooked and cooled crust (above).
16ou cream cheese
2t vanilla
1/2c sugar
2-4T water
Topping--> blueberries are packed into a square area in top left corner & strawberries are sliced thickly and laid across into stripes to look like the US flag!
