With a high of 44 degrees it felt very spring like. My walk with Balt this morning was very pleasant and I imagine that as the weather warms, getting up early to walk with him before school will only get easier. The school day was nice. I'm still getting to know my students but they are all eagerly beginning new projects. With a two hour prep right after my lunch, I have a huge chunk of time to get stuff done. Today at lunch I heard they were putting a new electric marquee in front of our school. I ran out to snap a photo and was delighted by the sight of melted snow.
After school I had a meeting, Jessi had BB practice and Monika had tutoring. I got home around 5:30 and took Balt for a walk in the dark, but it was still quite mild. I picked up Panera for dinner and then went shopping for the gallery opening tomorrow morning. I was home by 8pm and eager to get to bed early. Monika now is getting up early twice a week for morning soccer practice at school (6am!). Spring is just around the corner!
