We've had a wonderful Danish tour guide today on a new bus showing us the sights in Copenhagen & Elsinore. With 80% chance of rain I expected a wet day, but the bits of raininess haven't ruined our time. Our tour guide has shown us beautiful sights & beaches. She often starts her explanation with, "And when the weather is nice..."
It rained a while during lunch so Monika & I found a warm bakery to buy dessert. We made sandwiches after breakfast to save some funds. We are all pitching in to go to Malmo (?), Sweden tomorrow instead of staying in Copenhagen for a 3rd day. We went to the bank for train fare (400 kroner for 2 roundtrip train tickets = 75 US dollars).
After lunch we went to the Kronborg castle Shakespeare set his Hamlet play in. It was pretty darn cool. I kept thinking how much my husband would have appreciated it all & I'm sure would have recited bits for me. (see photo)
