The Madison area has received a total of about 15 inches of snow from this weekend's storm, we spent most of the weekend in Milwaukee for Jessi's synchro meet. Luckily there was a break in the storm system that gave us perfect driving conditions home Saturday. Monika's soccer game was not cancelled and again, we were lucky to get out of the game just at the onset of the "blizzard"...
I spent my Sunday morning digging out so that Erika could get to work by 11am. There should be a workout system out there with snow shoveling involved. I came in soaked in sweat-- one of the best upperbody workouts I have had ever!
Many have asked how we are surviving without Jim... well, we are busy. There is little time for complaining about missing him. Monika plays on two indoor soccer teams, Jessi and myself are each on one. Jessi is still doing synchro and both Jess and Moni are on basketball teams. With work, homework, cleaning, laundry, sports, car troubles, grades, a kid who won't eat meat and another kid who only eats meat; life just runs a little crazy and it keeps going.
At least the snow is pretty.
