Say good-bye to July...

...and so long to early morning swim team practice after Saturday!  Just one weekend left of swim meets-- the grand daddy, all city swim meet.  Today I spent my day at the West Side pool all day, on my feet, either watching Jessi swim or doing clerk of course.  I was exhausted, as was Jessi!  It was not her day, but I am proud of the accomplishment-- she is not a full time swimmer and she was swimming against the best of them.  In 100 backstroke, she added 5 seconds to her seed time (1:27.72) and is the 21st fastest in the city-- still the fastest at Shorewood!  In the 100 freestyle she added 1/2 a second to her seed time (1:10.83) and is now the 25th fastest in the city-- the second fastest at Shorewood.  That means on Saturday, she will still make the A-team relays and manage to place in the top 10 with luck!
