Jim reserved a campsite for the family this weekend but there was no way we all could get away. Jessi and I left this morning to work the Wisconsin Invite swim meet hosted by Memorial at the UW natatorium. Jessi was not swimming today because she swam last night. Jim and Monika packed for camping and went out to breakfast on their way. They complained that I was not going with them. While I was done by noon, Jessi only had a lunch break and had to go back for the evening. I made lunch for Jessi and Erika, did some baking and cleaning. I dropped Jessi off and made my way up to Mirror Lake to join the campers (Erika went to work). I drove for an hour to get a couple of hours by the fire before having to get back to Madison to pick Jessi up and take Monika home. Monika couldn't stay the night because she has a soccer game in the morning. I know Jim was a tad dissappointed his family fun didn't pan out, but he seemed fine with spending the night in the woods reading his books and working on his papers. I kissed him good night and told him to becareful, but he insisted that it was everyone else at the campground that needed to becareful (cute). Now I am home by my own fire.
