I got to be honest, I'm kinda grouchy. Today was freezing cold and the weather isn't going to get any warmer in the next week. Vacation starts tomorrow after school and it's not going to be as wonderful as it was earlier this week. Poop. It's going to get to 80 in Alabama (where we went last year). Next year, I'm going back. I'm tempted to just get in the car and go this year, but all three girls have school activities.
This morning I left at 7am to get bagels for my editors. We met to discuss picking editors for next year. I then rushed over to the photo show. My first two classes popped in to check it out. I ran around during 3rd hour and then went home for lunch with Jessi. There was a tornado drill during 5th hour and an "environmental symposium" with Mayor Dave and Representative Spencer Black during 6th. It was an odd day. As soon as I could leave, I grabbed Balt and went to Monika's soccer game in Verona after school.
By the time I got to the game it was barely 40. Balt wanted to walk around, but I couldn't stay outside long to watch the game. I managed a few photos before going back into the car to watch the rest of the game. Verona was supposed to be the hardest game of the season and the girls tied 0-0. Monika knew several girls on their JV team from club soccer, which made it a bit more fun. By the time she joined me in the car she said she could hardly feel her arms. She said at one point she thought it was raining but then realized it was just skin feeling frost bitten.
