The Memorial Boys won the state championship and Jessi was there with her swim team mates to help cheer them on. She had to rush from the meet to her game in La Follette tonight, missing an earlier shoot around time in order to support the boys team. It's a hard transition for her sometimes to go from the swim team world to the basketball world. As much as she likes playing basketball, I know she absolutely can't live without swimming.
My Saturday was nice. Balt gets me out of bed early which isn't terrible but it'd be nice not to have to get up at 5am to let him out to pee. Once he's got me up, then he's eager for me to get going. I put him off until 8am, then we went walking for a good hour. The morning looked kind of nice, sunny, but it was cold-- 27 degrees. It got up to 39, so it was a mild day. I worked on laundry and vacuuming, then did yoga with time for reading. I picked up Jessi from the swim meet and rushed her to the basketball game across town. The girls seemed to have a chance at winning for a while but lost it by the 2nd quarter. Jessi nearly fouled out in the first half so she didn't play much in the 2nd. We both came home eager for the evening. I just want to read while she made plans to go out and celebrate with swim friends.
