I was up throughout the night for this and that-- Balt, the heat, noise, discomfort, whatever. I finally gave up the tossing and turning at 5am and went outside to water. Jessi got up 45 minutes later to prep for her swim meet. I dropped her off at 6:30am and then walked Balt. I spent the rest of the morning at Middleton pool reading in between races. She swam her freestyle races well but lost her goggles during her backstroke. She still came in 5th place even though she had given up on the race. I finally finished Book 4 of the Game of Thrones, assuming I'd quit it after, but the story isn't finished and I want to know what happens in Book 5, so I won't be up on the next book at book club, I guess.
Once home, we washed cars, did some cooking and cleaning. I had to call Dell because our 6 year old entertainment center computer finally died. Of course my 5 year old warranty was expired so there was no use in spending any money to fix it. It is going to be a quiet week around here. As far as computers go, I think a 6 year old life is pretty good. Then after a very hot dog walk, I managed to get myself to the pool. There is nothing so refreshing as a cool swim after a hot walk. I came home to a quiet house, a loud fan and time to read. Yes, I've started Book 5.
My name is Ben.
