I rendered the final version of the swim team video this afternoon after the newspaper club meeting. I had a few tweaks to do to make sure it played smoothly. I created 3 separate videos. I had a student help me with the first one and once she got me started, I was able to go from there. It was nice having a student to go to for advise and questions. Jessi did not want anything to do with the production, choosing to watch the video with the team for the first time on Sunday. Monika also did not want anything to do with the project-- she's just got too much on her plate and quite frankly wasn't the least bit interested. I think I would have had to offer her several hundred dollars, if not a grand to get any input from her. At this point in my video production experience, I'm feeling like I've got it figured it out. The process is time consuming but I enjoy it. Now the big question is, what's next!? (note, I will upload and premiere the video on Sunday).
Today was Balt's day at daycare, so I didn't worry about walking him. With a high of 35, I was happy not to be out and about. I made mac'n cheese for dinner and went to yoga after. My hopes of getting to bed early tonight are not quite materializing.
