I went to a Wisconsin Retirement System benefits seminar this morning and learned a bit about retiring. I can't do it until I'm 55 (I'm 48 now) but I'm starting to think about the process. 6 years will go by quickly if I can wait that long. I often think about starting a new career and moving, but have no idea what that new career would be or where exactly I would go, so I'm stuck. It's not a terrible place to be stuck.
After the seminar, I picked up Monika and Balt and made my way to Oconomowac to see Melissa. She lives next to a lake, so we spent a nice afternoon by the water. Balt chased her small dog around, he swam with her toddlers and generally had a grand time. On our way home, Monika and I enjoyed some shopping at Johnson Creek and had dinner at Culvers. It was a wonderful mid week summer day.
Jessi posted a couple of photos and I found one someone else posted but tagged her in. It looks like she's enjoying her summer training on the east coast.
