Homecoming week was a busy one and today's shortened schedule made for a weird day, but a good one. I finished my metals' garden project during my lunch today after 3 days of work. The art garden is still in desperate need of a gardener but that's not me. I attended to my corner with the hope of daffodils in the spring. I sent out an email to the staff asking for help for the rest of the park. Geof says we need to scale the park down. I think it just needs a lot of cement.
We got out of school early today for the only pep aud of the school year. PJ and I once again did color commentary for the live feed (<my #100happydays photo for today). It was nice to sit back and watch without much responsibility. I enjoyed doing student government for the past 10 years or so, but I can't say that I miss it. Plus I have yearbook to keep me just as busy, maybe even busier. I had a yearbook photographer making sure to get pictures. After the assembly, I ran out to take tennis photos while my yearbook photographer took volleyball photos.
I got home before 5pm and took Balt for a nice walk. The weather is just gorgeous this weekend. I did a bit of shopping and then came home and made dinner. I packed the car for a bit of a get away. I'm taking off for the weekend and letting Erika pick up my vegetables tomorrow. I'm not sure what I"m in for. If I don't post tomorrow night, it means I went off the grid. We'll have to see. I made plans to go camping this weekend a couple of months ago. I could not have planned better weather!!
