Well, I got up twice to check to see if school was cancelled and by 6:30am I realized that nearly every other school district was off but us. It just wasn't cold enough. This morning it was negative 5 with a windchill about negative 28. Monika and I had planned to have lunch together but once at work, I had no desire to leave. We went out to dinner together instead. I thought there would be tons of kids out but most were in school. I spent my prep time working on the yearbook, figuring out which pages need to be finished for our next deadline. After school I helped get the boys swim team photos (see photo above).
Monika and I went to a new place in Madison, Jason's Deli. I got a baked potato that was almost as big as my head. Monika got soup and a sandwich. I brought home some salad for Erika. Erika had her first interview today and she has another tomorrow. We celebrated the fact that she was asked to be interviewed again. Both girls went out this evening after dinner. Erika is at the library researching for her interview tomorrow and Monika is at a friends. That gave me time to get to some cleaning and organizing. Having all three girls home for one week was a blast but I could really tell the difference in the work load. With Monika home, there's still extra work, extra dishes to do, extra laundry, etc. but knowing it's only for a couple of weeks makes it enjoyable. I love having someone home to ask what's for dinner to!
