A Very Good Friday

We decided to have a day of leisure, enjoy each other's company, the warmth of the day and get a bit of exercise in. Our plan to go to beach was delayed for summer time. I went on a long walk with Balt and then after some time laying out in the sunshine we went out to lunch all together. It isn't often I am with both one of my daughters and my parents. It was fun to have time to tell stories and hear stories, especially from my dad. I set my mom's Roku up with Amazon Prime so she could watch old Downton Abby episodes. We watched the first episode all together and then went for a swim. Monika and I decided to do a bit of shopping for a few extra Easter basket gifts. Once back home, I took Balt for an evening walk and then Monika and I enjoyed some ice cream and a movie. I wish I didn't have to leave tomorrow, but my vacation is coming to an end.
