Jessi and I slept in a bit and enjoyed a very leisure morning at Beth's. Beth made an amazing breakfast and we ate together. Jessi had a uniform inspection at 1:30, so we left by noon to have enough time to stop for lunch on the way. I dropped her off with 10 minutes to spare and then I went and sat in a shady spot to wait for the parade march on. The football game started at 3:30pm and I arraigned to meet up with an old friend at 3pm so that I'd have someone to sit with during the game. The game was pretty exciting but we spent much of the time chit chatting in the sun. It really is wonderful having friends all over the US! After the game Jessi and I went to her sponsor family's home for dinner. It was a wonderful time for me to connect the people who take care of Jessi in Annapolis when I can't . They store her stuff over the summer, pick her up from the airport and let her hang out over free weekends. They are wonderful people. It sounds like they may be helping her buy a car this year. They love her dearly and I am so blessed to have them in our lives. After dinner we went back to Beth's for another evening off.
