Jessi, my friend Mike and my mailman all had the day off today. It's a federal holiday celebrating the Polynesian discoverers of the Hawaiian Island or something like that. Jessi sent me some great pictures over the weekend. This one posted here is my favorite. I am really missing the girls this week but I have to admit the snaps and texts keep me feeling connected. In 45 days the four of us will be together again with my parents for Thanksgiving and I know that time will get here pretty quickly. Plus, I have tons to do to keep distracted in the meantime.
Balt gets me up around 4:30am and after having a hard time getting to sleep last night, I knew today would be a bit tiring. Advisory Monday's are always a big rush, without much down time. After school I rushed home to give Balt some time outside and then I got to a power yoga class early so that I could see Erika before she left for the night. I brought her a bucket of chili and some treats that Josh brought into school but were gluten filled. I'm enjoying the yoga a lot. I came home eager to shower and have leftovers for dinner. I watched a bit of The Voice and need to get to bed early tonight.
