Our first yearbook deadline is December 15th, less than a month away. I picked up the yearbook t-shirts on Monday and the kids love them and have begun to wear them. Kids who aren't in yearbook want to buy them! If it gets kids excited about getting their work done, then it's especially great. Fall sports are all finished and now we are starting to take photos of winter teams (see below). With the holidays coming in and deadlines lining up, it's starting to heat up! Meanwhile we've got snow in the forecast for this weekend.
I woke up to pouring rain. I decided to get on my treadmill for a workout for the first time in a long time. I took Balt for a walk after school when the rain had stopped after my photoshoot with gymnastics team. I warmed up some soup, watched some news and went to later power yoga class then I normally go to. It was crazy hot which was just what I needed. I came home just in time to watch Empire. Tomorrow is a crazy long parent teacher conference day and then Friday is another crazy long field trip to Chicago day. But in 5 days, 13 hours, 22 minutes and 5 seconds I'll be landing in LA.
