I started my day running out to Hurts Donuts at 5:30am to get treats for my freshmen advisory kids as well as newspaper club kids. Hurts just opened a week or so in Madison so the lines have been crazy long. When I got there, there was no line at all, so I had plenty of time to walk Balt this morning. Our department dressed up as Pokemon trainers. The costumes were a bit more subtle then things we had done the in past. Balls clipped to belts (or my neck) were the big give-aways. I purchased a team Mystic hat to help as well. I straightened my hair and tried to get a bit dramatic with my makeup just for effect. It was comfortable and fun.
Due today are our PPG's (Teacher Professional Practice Goal) and SLO's (Teacher Student Learning Objective) as well as teacher self review. We worked on them during our PCT but I was too distracted with too much sugar running through my veins. I went home, walked Balt and headed out to a hot yoga class. I'll be up late tonight to get this stuff done... I understand why we do it, but it doesn't make it fun.
