The first season's snow!

It was a beautiful day! Balt and I went out for a 4 mile hike. I finished Trevor Noah's book, which was really good and I would recommend to anyone who wants to know more about South Africa, an amazing mother son relationship, and/or a miraculous story of faith. I loved it and hate that I'm done and now have to find a new book to read! I went into school to get a bit of work done and then made my way out to Johnson Creek to meet up with Melissa for a bit of Christmas shopping (for her, not me since I'm done) and lunch out. We sat chatting for hours after our meal was finished, catching up on life and of course talking about politics. I came home and did some shoveling, packaged up some pretzels and worked on my Christmas card. I have it ready to order! As I went over my list of things to do this week, I was shocked to see more on the personal side than the work side! That rarely happens but I've got lots of holiday prep to do. Next weekend is tamale time and I can't wait!!
