I'm always counting. I can't help it. 1 out of 4 weeks of work done today and it felt good. My students are only finished with week 1 out of 6, but I still let them celebrate and we did a round robin about what the plan was for the weekend-- sleep, movies, video games, work and hanging out with friends. I graded the first projects and I've got some really talented students (my 2nd class "coat of arms" assignment where student shared about themselves in their work).
After school I went grocery shopping as our list had gotten pretty long. I went to Trader Joe's but will still need a few items from the regular grocery store tomorrow (like rice noodles). I had hoped to go to the pool this afternoon but did a hot yoga class instead. I've been so cold lately, even with the humidity, it's just not really warm enough for me to go swimming. I hear about the heat out west and I'm not sure if I should be envious or not. I guess I should be thankful for the comfortable 70's we're having here in Wisconsin.
