At some point this next year, Balt will become older than me! It is hard for me to believe but as I see the continuing grey gather around his muzzle, I know it's true. He's survived cancer and in order to schedule a tooth extraction this week, we had a blood work up done and he continues to be cancer free. We certainly are lucky to have him in our lives!
While lots of folks in America were enjoying an extra hour of sleep, my animals woke me up at 4am. I got up and started organizing my week. By 7am, we were out running errands. I purchased paint finally and started prepping to paint. I went to yoga, had lunch with Erika and then got to work. I'm going to need to do at least another coat, most likely two more to get a true color without the blotches of my previous yellow with orange rag-roll. I decided to go with a very light blue eggshell ceiling and top edge with a semi-gloss true orange for the walls. I wanted warmth and boy, I got it. I'm wondering if I should lighted it up with a glazing effect? The cabinets will be lighter, so that should help.
