My first big yearbook deadline was today -- 48 pages. We turned in 12 early and another 18 ready, leaving us quite a few pages short. I worked most of the day on pages, figuring how to get 18 more pages ready, frustrated with kids who do so little. Every year, I get anxious but the kids pull through, sometimes with a lot of my prodding and some of my finesse. I ended up only sending about 6 blank pages in, but only because I didn't want to stay at work that late. The pages will get done by the time they come back as proofs, I hope. Anyway, I didn't very little today other than work on the yearbook. As soon as I got home, I made a quesadilla for dinner went to bed.
