These are weird times we are living in. I decided to venture out to the grocery store. I suited up with coat and gloves, and stuffed my pockets with tissues just in case I coughed. Woodmans, which normalled is open 24/7 has had to close every evening at 10pm to restock shelves and opened this morning at 7am. There was a line to get in. I got there at 6:45am and waited in the parking lot until everyone was inside and then zoom around to get my stuff as fast as possible. I certainly don't need much. I decided I'd live on celery and peanut butter for lunch and quesadillas for dinner. I got lots more cold and flu meds since I'm guessing I might get sick in the coming weeks. Woodman's only allows for one package of toilet paper per household and while I didn't need any, I figured I'd get my fair shair while I could just in case things get really bad.
This afternoon the county health people announced not only would school not happen tomorrow, but any crowd over 50 is banned. I'll need to go into work tomorrow to take care of yearbook and newspaper business and luckily I can, but I won't be able to access anything after 6pm. I'd like to think this will all blow over by April 6th when I'm scheduled to be back at work. I'm crossing my fingers that my summer won't be extended either.
While I felt better at times, I am still coughing and have a headache. I felt feverish while grocery shopping but I had my winter coat and gloves on the whole time and just got overheated. I've yet to actually get a fever in the week I've been sick. Other than watching tv, (rented Bombshell), I didn't do much but chat on the phone with Jim, the girls, my brother and my mom all at different times. I'm in bed early tonight.
