Today Jim and I are celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary separately as he is still in California. He sent me flowers yesterday and I very much enjoyed them during my meetings today.
We've had quite the year. I have always looked forward to growing old with Jim. He encourages me to stay active and keeps me thinking deeply with the intellectual conversations we often have. It'll be nice to have him home again, but it will mean having to give up some space for his virtual teaching.
My day was pretty busy with zoom meetings. I started the morning off with a dogwalk. I made a pasta salad for lunch and went to school during my lunch hour to finish delivering my art kits. I spent the afternoon working on my google classes and organizing stuff. There's a lot to do but I have it all under control. I called my mom this evening and she was too tired to talk with me, which seems to be pretty much how our conversations go which makes me sad.
