We enjoyed a nice first week of January with frigid weather, light snow and no kids. Erika warned me not to go back to hot yoga which I did heed. Poor Jessi got the flu after new year's celebrations but tested negative for COVID. I've been told to wear surgical masks at school instead of fabric ones. Once the kids come back, I'm thinking I'll double up with both. It seems so crazy we are back to way life was a year ago, feeling like the pandemic is in full force. Even with vaccines and boosters, life seems a little scary. I am back to going grocery shopping at the crack of dawn in order to avoid people and only getting food to go. The big question is not just when but how will this pandemic end!?
